  • 2 1/4 lb
    london broil
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    meat tenderizer
  • 1 c
    onion, chopped
  • 1 c
    lemon juice
  • 1/2 c
    vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp
  • 1 tsp
    celery seed
  • 1 tsp
  • 1 tsp
    dried thyme
  • 1 tsp
    dried oregano
  • 1 tsp
    dried rosemary
  • 2 clove
    garlic, minced

How to Make Grilled Lemon and Herb London Broil


  1. Combine ingredients in a large shallow dish and coat meat on both sides. Let marinate in refrigerator for 4 to 5 hours.
  2. Sprinkle meat evenly with tenderizer 30 minutes prior to cooking and bring to room temperature.
  3. On a preheated grill cook meat 12 minutes per pound, turning for even cooking. Let meat rest about 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
