- 1 tablespoon canola oil
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 2 teaspoons black pepper, freshly ground

Step 1Preheat grill to high.

Step 2Brush steak with oil an dseaon liberally with salt and peper.

Step 3Grill turning only once until slightly charred (about 7 minutes to medium-rare).

Step 4Transfer to cutting board and let rest for about 5 minutes.

Step 5Slice meat accross the grain into 1/2 inch slices.

Step 6Drizze slices with Smokey Chipotle Steak Sauce (see recipe in "Sauces and Dips") and serve with Avacado-Oregano Relish (see recipe in "Sides").
