Ingredients
- 1 pound round steak
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 - clove garlic, diced
- 1.5 teaspoons grated fresh ginger
- 1/4 cup salad oil
- 1 cup green onions, thinly sliced
- 1 cup red or green bell pepper
- 1 - thinly sliced celery stalk
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 cup water
- 2 - tomatoes, cut in wedges
How To Make green pepper steak

Step 1Cut beef across grain into thin strips, 1/8\" thick.

Step 2Combine soy sauce, garlic and ginger.

Step 3Add beef; toss.

Step 4Set aside while preparing vegetables.

Step 5Heat oil in wok.

Step 6Add beef, toss over high heat until browned.

Step 7Taste meat.

Step 8If it is not tender, cover and simmer for 30 to 40 minutes over low heat.

Step 9Turn heat up and add vegetables.

Step 10Toss until vegetables are tender crisp, about 10 minutes.

Step 11Mix cornstarch with water.

Step 12Add to pan.

Step 13Stir and cook until thickened.

Step 14Add tomatoes.
