Ingredients
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 - garlic clove, minced
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 - plum tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons flat leaf parsely, minced
- 4 - 6" whole-wheat pita pocket
- - romaine lettuce leaves
- 1 small red onion, thinly sliced
How To Make greek burgers

Step 1Mix ground beef, garlic; lemon juice, oregano leaves; cumin, pepper, plum tomato and parsley.

Step 2Form into 4 patties about 3/4\" thick.

Step 3Grill or broil, 4\" from souce of heat, for 3 minutes on each side for medium-rare.

Step 4Cut the top third off of four 6\" whole-wheat pita pocket breads.

Step 5Turn the cut-off piece round side down; tuck inside to pocket bread to reinforce bottom.

Step 6Place a grilled burger in each pocket bread along with a romaine lettuce leaf and paper-thin slices from 1 small red onion.
