My Grandma was a very good Cook, and I have always made My Meatloaf Like Her. maybe add a thing or two extra at times, just to be different, This is her Basic recipe, Our Family Favorite.

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 Lb - ground beef
- 1/2 sleeve - saltine crackers ( 1 cup crushed) or hi ho butter crackers
- 1/3 C - water or beef broth
- 1 Med - onion (chopped & diced)
- 1 lg - egg
- 1 tsp - sage, dried ground
- - add to taste; salt, pepper, & garlic pdr

Step 1Heat Oven @ 350 degrees In large Bowl, mix all the meatloaf ingredients together, Mix well, I use my hands. (its the best tool I own)

Step 2In an Ungreased 13X 9 Pan, Form Mixture into a loaf 9" X 4" about 30 Min into Baking time, Cover top of this loaf with the Ketchup. Bake. . . 45 Min. Let set 5-8 Min before Slicing. Tip: ( you can use a bread pan, 9 X 4 but will take a bit longer to cook.) Bake @ 350 for 45 minutes.
