This is my Grandma's recipe for sloppy Joe's, It's so much better than the canned stuff and super easy to make.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb
    ground beef (hamburger meat)
  • 1 can(s)
    tomato soup
  • 1/2 c
    brown sugar, lightly packed
  • 1 c
    ketchup
  • 1/3 c
    mustard
  • 1/2 tsp
    liquid smoke flavoring
  • 1-2 pinch
    of salt & pepper

How to Make Grandma's Sloppy Joes

Step-by-Step

  1. Brown the ground beef (hamburger meat)
  2. When the beef is browned, add all ingredients, mix well, let cook and med/high for about 10 minutes to let the flavors soak into the meat,put on any kind of buns, bread, flat bread or chips & enjoy. Goes good with chips and your choice of dip. It's also a great one to leave in the crock pot and serve at a pot luck or for the busy family. Spice it up any way you want.
