Something my grandma used to make at home, alot. Makes me think of her everytime we have it and the kids always enjoy it. Simple combination.

hamburger cooked and crumbled
1 can(s)
28oz crushed tomatoes
1 can(s)
stew tomatoes
1 can(s)
whole kernel corn
1 can(s)
1 can(s)
green beans
1 c
raw baby carrots
3 stick
celery cut into bite size pieces
5 large
russet potatoes peeled and cubed
5 c
1 Tbsp
beef better than bullion
1 Tbsp
powdered garlic
1 medium
white onion cut up
salt & pepper to taste

How to Make Grandmas Hamburger Stew


  • 1Add Cooked hamburger, Tomatoes both cans, Baby Carrots, Potatoes, Onion, Celery, Onion, water, and seasonings into crock pot cook on high for 6 hours.
  • 21 hour before done, add Can corn, peas and green beans (this keeps from over cooking and not being all yucky mushy)
  • 3Serve with Cornbread or Saltine crackers. Great to freeze or serve as left overs.
