My Grandmother made her own cream cheese and other cheeses. Even though I don't have those for ingredients it is still very tasty and so easy to prepare. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb
    ground beef
  • 8 oz
    cream cheese
  • 1 Tbsp
    sugar
  • 1 c
    sour cream
  • 1 Tbsp
    salt
  • 1 small
    onion finely chopped
  • 1 tsp
    minced garlic
  • 1/4 c
    fresh green pepper
  • 1 16 oz
    can of tomato sauce
  • 2 c
    shredded cheese (your choice)
  • 1 8 oz
    pkg. of kluski noodles

How to Make Grandma's Ground Beef Pot

Step-by-Step

  1. Brown ground beef and drain. Add salt, sugar, 1/2 tsp. garlic and tomato sauce. Cook noodles and drain.
    Mix cream cheese, sour cream, onion, 1/2 tsp. garlic and green pepper. Butter a 2 quart casserole.
    Layer half of the noodles, half of cream cheese mixture and half of the meat. Repeat layers. Top with
    cheese. Bake covered at 350 for 30 minutes.
