grandma's goulash
Whenever my grandmother babysat for us as kids, this was the meal we wanted her to fix. Now my kids love it. Serve with grated parmesan cheese.

Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1 medium green bell pepper, diced
- 1 can crushed tomatoes (28 oz)
- - salt and pepper
- 16 ounces macaroni, elbow
How To Make grandma's goulash

Step 1In an electric skillet or large saucepan,heat the oil and brown the ground beef with the onions and peppers until the beef is totally browned.

Step 2Add the crushed tomatoes, season generously with salt and add pepper. Cover and simmer for approx. 30-45 minutes. Stir every 5 minutes so the sauce does not burn on the bottom.

Step 3Cook the pasta according to the package directions. Once cooked, drain and put in large bowl. Top with sauce, mix thoroughly and serve.
