Whenever my grandmother babysat for us as kids, this was the meal we wanted her to fix. Now my kids love it. Serve with grated parmesan cheese.

Ingredients For grandma's goulash

3 Tbspolive oil

1 lbground beef

1 mdonion, diced

1 mdgreen bell pepper, diced

1 cancrushed tomatoes (28 oz)

salt and pepper

16 ozmacaroni, elbow
How To Make grandma's goulash

1In an electric skillet or large saucepan,heat the oil and brown the ground beef with the onions and peppers until the beef is totally browned.

2Add the crushed tomatoes, season generously with salt and add pepper. Cover and simmer for approx. 30-45 minutes. Stir every 5 minutes so the sauce does not burn on the bottom.

3Cook the pasta according to the package directions. Once cooked, drain and put in large bowl. Top with sauce, mix thoroughly and serve.
