I wasn't aware my Grandma had ever written this recipe down, because she never used one to make it. Then, I found it in an old church cookbook with her name as the submitter! Oh happy days!!!

Ingredients

1 1/2 lb
ground beef
1 medium
onion - minced
1 small
green pepper - minced
2 can(s)
diced tomatoes
1/4 c
ketchup
1 tsp
salt
1/4 tsp
pepper
1 tsp
sugar
1/2 tsp
oregano, dried
1 Tbsp
chili powder
1 clove
garlic - minced
1 can(s)
cream of mushroom soup
1 c
diced velveeta
8 oz
pkg of pasta, boiled and drained

How to Make Grandma Roberts' Goulash

Step-by-Step

  • 1Brown beef with onion and green pepper. Drain.
  • 2Add tomatoes, ketchup, salt, pepper, sugar, oregano, chili powder and garlic. Simmer 15 - 20 minutes.
  • 3Add soup and cheese. Mix well.
  • 4Fold in pasta.
  • 5Pour into casserole dish and bake 15 - 20 minutes at 350 degrees.
