I wasn't aware my Grandma had ever written this recipe down, because she never used one to make it. Then, I found it in an old church cookbook with her name as the submitter! Oh happy days!!!

Ingredients For grandma roberts' goulash

  • 1 1/2 lb
    ground beef
  • 1 md
    onion - minced
  • 1 sm
    green pepper - minced
  • 2 can
    diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 c
    ketchup
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    pepper
  • 1 tsp
    sugar
  • 1/2 tsp
    oregano, dried
  • 1 Tbsp
    chili powder
  • 1 clove
    garlic - minced
  • 1 can
    cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 c
    diced velveeta
  • 8 oz
    pkg of pasta, boiled and drained

How To Make grandma roberts' goulash

    Brown beef with onion and green pepper. Drain.

    Add tomatoes, ketchup, salt, pepper, sugar, oregano, chili powder and garlic. Simmer 15 - 20 minutes.

    Add soup and cheese. Mix well.

    Fold in pasta.

    Pour into casserole dish and bake 15 - 20 minutes at 350 degrees.
