Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless beef chuck cubed
  • 1 slice onions, yellow, medium
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons paprica ( sweet paprica)
  • 2 quarts water
  • 3 slices carrotts
  • dash pepper
  • 3 - potatos cleand and diced up into 1 in cubes

How To Make grandma chorba's goulash

  • Step 1
    brown onion in oil, add beef and brown lightly. Add salt, pepper, & paprica, cover pan and let simmer in its own juices. Add a little water if needed. 1 hr. add potatoes & carrots & 2 qts. of water. cook 20 min. until vegetables are cooked.
  • Step 2
    Serve over wide cooked noodles or Paprikash dumplings or server as soup
