    boneless beef chuck cubed
  • 1 slice
    onions, yellow, medium
  • 1 Tbsp
  • 2 Tbsp
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    paprica ( sweet paprica)
  • 2 qt
  • 3 slice
  • dash(es)
  • 3
    potatos cleand and diced up into 1 in cubes

How to Make Grandma Chorba's Goulash


  1. brown onion in oil, add beef and brown lightly. Add salt, pepper, & paprica, cover pan and let simmer in its own juices. Add a little water if needed. 1 hr.

    add potatoes & carrots & 2 qts. of water. cook 20 min. until vegetables are cooked.
  2. Serve over wide cooked noodles or Paprikash dumplings or server as soup
