- 1brown onion in oil, add beef and brown lightly. Add salt, pepper, & paprica, cover pan and let simmer in its own juices. Add a little water if needed. 1 hr.
add potatoes & carrots & 2 qts. of water. cook 20 min. until vegetables are cooked.
