If you're looking for a super-simple, super-meaty chili recipe, this is it. My grandaddy used to be in charge of making this for the Kiwanis Club annual chili suppers, and it was always a big hit!

chili beans
2 lb
ground chuck
1 medium
onion, sliced
1 can(s)
tomato sauce (soup can size)
mexine chili powder -- to taste

How to Make Grandaddy's Chili


  • 1Brown the ground chuck with he chopped onion til ground chuck is no longer pink. Drain any grease.
  • 2Add can of tomato sauce and chili powder, to taste. Add salt if you wish. Let simmer for 45 minutes and serve hot.
