A regular favorite for the "Hibachi" grill. It's for your BBQ Parties, tailgating get togethers, outside parties with the grilling going on. This recipe rocks!

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • - salt and pepper lightly to taste
  • 2 teaspoons ginger, grated
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup onions. finely chopped
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 2 - eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • 3 packages soda crackers, crumbled
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • TERIYAKI SAUCE:
  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic pwder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 teaspoons ginger, grated
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch

How To Make grammie's ono teriyaki grilled burgers

  • Step 1
    First combine the soda crackers and milk, be sure that the soda crackers soak up the milk, set aside.
  • Step 2
    In a large mixing bowl, combine all the ingredients and mix just enough to incorporate all the ingredients, do not over mix. Then add the soaked soda crackers and lightly mix just to spread the soda crackers evenly in the meat mixture.
  • Step 3
    TERIYAKI SAUCE FOR HEAVY BASTING AND DRIZZLE SAUCE:
  • Step 4
    Combine the water and cornstarch in a small bowl first, add the remaining ingredients in a saucepan. On medium heat, cook the sauce till the sugar is dissolved, add the water and cornstarch mixture to thicken the sauce. Remove from heat, take half the sauce and set aside. Take the other half to the grill for heavy basting.
  • Step 5
    Baste the burgers a few times during the grilling stage.
  • Step 6
    When fixing your burgers, with the burger on the bun, drizzle the teriyaki sauce that you had set aside. Garnish as you please: lettuce, tomatoes, sliced onions, pineapple rings, bacon, cheese, etc.
