Ingredients

  • 2 - pounds sirloin steak,sliced 1/4 inch thick
  • 1/2 CUP - soy sauce, dark
  • 1 - tablespoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1/4 cup - sake or sherry
  • 1 - clove garlic pureed
  • 1 - teaspoon to 3 tablespoons sugar

How To Make ginger beef teriyaki skewer

  • Step 1
    marinate steak for about 1 hour in mixture of soy sauce fresh ginger sake or sherry,garlic, and sugar according to taste.
  • Step 2
    Drain; weave meat on skewers,using one skewer for each strip of meat. cook quickly,1 to 2 min on each side, over hot coals,basting with the marinade. do not overcook.
