Ingredients
- 1 pound top sirloin steak
- 1 can water chestnuts, drained
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 3 medium carrots, cut in 2 inch sticks
- 1 medium onions, sliced
- 1 - clove garlic, pressed
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger root, finely chopped
- 1 large green bell pepper, chunked
- 1 quart salad lettuce
- 1/4 cup orange marmalade
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
How To Make ginger beef stir fry

Step 1Thinly slice sirloin against grain in 1 inch wide strips.

Step 2Cut each water chestnut in half.

Step 3In a large skillet or wok, quickly brown sirloin in hot oil.

Step 4Stir in chestnuts, carrots, onion, garlic and ginger until onion is soft.

Step 5Stir in pepper and lettuce for one minute.

Step 6Stir in marmalade and soy sauce.

Step 7Cook, stirring about 2 minutes.

Step 8Serve at once.
