How to Make Garlic Onion SwissBurgers
- Mix dried onion flakes (any minced dried onion from the seasonings aisle at your local grocery store), garlic powder, salt and pepper. I usually use about 1T of each garlic and onion per burger.
- Form hamburger mix into patties (however big you want them), cover and set aside.
- Heat 1-2T EVOO (depending on leanness of hamburger, the less fat content, the more oil to add). Depending on pan and patty size, place 1-2 in the pan and cook 5-7 minutes each side until dark and cooked through.
- Add 1 slice of your favorite cheese (ours is swiss), place burger between your choice of bread or bun, and enjoy!
