Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup balsamic or red wine vinegar
- 8 ounces garlic cloves, minced
- 4 teaspoons dried rosemary, crushed
- 3.5 pounds 2 inch thick top sirloin steak
How To Make garlic and rosemary steak

Step 1Combine first five ingredients, pour into a liquid tight container or plastic bag, then add steak.

Step 2Refrigerate overnight, turning occasionally.

Step 3Bring steak to room temperature.

Step 4Preheat broiler 5 minutes.

Step 5Remove steak from marinade and pat dry.

Step 6Transfer marinade to heavy saucepan.

Step 7Broil steak to desired doneness, about 10 minutes per side for rare (125 degrees.)

Step 8Transfer to platter.

Step 9Let stand 10 minutes.

Step 10Bring marinade to a boil.

Step 11Thinly slice steak across grain.

Step 12Arrange on platter.

Step 13Serve, passing marinade separately.
