Ingredients

  • 1 lb
    90% ground beef
  • 1/2 c
    chopped onions
  • 1 tsp
    finely chopped garlic
  • 1 tsp
    salt and pepper
  • 1 tsp
    cumin either ground or seeds
  • 1 can(s)
    roi-tel tomatoes
  • 1 pkg
    corn tortillas 12 count
  • 2 Tbsp
    flour
  • ·
    grated cheddar cheese
  • ·
    chopped lettuce
  • ·
    sliced avocado or guacamole
  • ·
    salsa of your choice

How to Make Ganado Tacos

Step-by-Step

  1. brown the ground beef, onions and garlic in med . size pan, add the roi-tel tomatoes and spices. Let simmer until juice is almost gone, then add the flour to bind together. Set aside to cool
  2. Soften tortillas in hot oil and drain on paper towels. Place 1 large tbls of meat on 1/2 tortilla and fold the other half over meat. Place on hot flat griddle and brown on both sides. About 10 Min.
  3. Dress tacos with lettuce, cheese and avocado slices and enjoy. Serve with salsa on your choice.
