Fresh Cilantro and Pepper Dipping Sauce

Just found this recipe in People magazine and it's called Rib Eye Bites. I made a couple of minor changes to it by adding the lime juice and using a red bell pepper instead of a green one. It's so good. I cannot wait for out steak to be ready!

Ingredients

1 Tbsp
olive oil
1
red bell pepper, cut in 1 inch pieces, top removed
1 Tbsp
soy sauce
1/4 c
sour cream
3/4 c
fresh cilantro leaves, lightly packed
1
garlic cloved, peeled
2 oz
cream cheese
salt and pepper to taste
juice of half a lime

How to Make Fresh Cilantro and Pepper Dipping Sauce

Step-by-Step

  • 1Cook peppers in olive oil in large skillet over medium heat for about 5 min. or until soft. Add Soy sauce and set aside.
  • 2Pulse sour cream, cilantro, lime juice and garlic in blender. Add peppers and cream cheese; puree until smooth. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  • 3Set in the fridge for about 30 minutes.

    Cook your steak and dip in! So good!

    PS. Try it with boiled shrimp too! Nice for the summer!
