french onion meatball stew

i made this up as i went along, of course, without measuring so i guessed on the amounts here. feel free to do the same i have made this using canned veg but its better using fresh.

Ingredients

  • 1 - egg
  • 1/2 cup crushed crackers
  • 1 - garlic cloved
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon oreagno, basil, whatever you like
  • 1 pound hamburger
  • 1 tablespoon oil if using a skillet or you can bake them
  • 1 can french onion soup
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 3 - carrots chopped
  • 2 - potatoes cubes
  • 1 - chopped onion
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley

How To Make french onion meatball stew

  • Step 1
    combine the egg, cracker,garlic, salt,hamburger and any spice your mood strikes you. mix and form into little balls. fry in oil or bake in oven. in pot add the soup, vegetables. cook for 30 minutes if using fresh veggies. add the meatballs. before serving add the parsley if using canned veggies put all together and heat. the longer it sits the better. sometimes i add cabbage.
