i made this up as i went along, of course, without measuring so i guessed on the amounts here. feel free to do the same i have made this using canned veg but its better using fresh.

Ingredients

  • 1
    egg
  • 1/2 c
    crushed crackers
  • 1
    garlic cloved
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    oreagno, basil, whatever you like
  • 1 lb
    hamburger
  • 1 Tbsp
    oil if using a skillet or you can bake them
  • 1 can(s)
    french onion soup
  • 2/3 c
    water
  • 3
    carrots chopped
  • 2
    potatoes cubes
  • 1
    chopped onion
  • 1 Tbsp
    fresh parsley

How to Make french onion meatball stew

Step-by-Step

  1. combine the egg, cracker,garlic, salt,hamburger and any spice your mood strikes you. mix and form into little balls. fry in oil or bake in oven. in pot add the soup, vegetables. cook for 30 minutes if using fresh veggies. add the meatballs. before serving add the parsley if using canned veggies put all together and heat. the longer it sits the better. sometimes i add cabbage.
