- 3 pounds chuck roast, trimmed of all fat
- 2 cups water
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon rosemary
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 - bay leaf
- 3-4 - peppercorns
- 8 - french rolls, split
How To Make french dip

Step 1Place roast in a slow cooker.

Step 2Add water, soy sauce, and seasonings.

Step 3Cover and cook on high for 5-6 hours or until beef is tender.

Step 4Remove meat from broth; shred with forks and keep warm.

Step 5Strain broth; skim off fat.

Step 6Pour broth into small cups for dipping.

Step 7Serve beef on rolls.
