My mom actually served this at my wedding rehersal dinner! Everyone loved it. It's great for a meal or snacks for the kids. Pair it with a salad and some fresh fruit and you have a complete meal.

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
- 10 3/4 ounces tomato soup
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 dash pepper (to your taste)
- 1 teaspoon oregano, dried (crushed)
- 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
- 1 large loaf french bread, sliced length-wise, spread with garlic butter and toasted
- 14 slices tomato, sliced thin
- 12 slices cheddar cheese, sliced in triangles
How To Make french bread bake

Step 1Mix meat, soup, salt, pepper, oregano and worcestershire sauce.

Step 2Spread evenly on both halves of the toasted french bread, covering edges completely.

Step 3Place both halves on a baking sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 30-35 minutes. Remove from oven and top with alternating tomato and cheese slices. Return to oven long enough for cheese to melt. Slice and serve.
