Ingredients

  • 31 oz
    pork and beans
  • 2 Tbsp
    ketchup
  • 2 Tbsp
    pickle relish
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp
    maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 2
    drops tabasco sauce
  • 1 dash(es)
    dry mustard (i use a couple of good squirts of yellow mustard)
  • 6
    frankfurters
  • 6
    frankfurter buns, buttered
  • ·
    american cheese, shredded (i use a mexican blend)

How to Make Football Party Frankwiches

Step-by-Step

  1. Combine the first 8 ingredients in a saucepan; simmer 25 to 30 minutes.
  2. Mean while, heat frankfurters and toast rolls.
  3. Place each frankfurter in a roll; top with pork and bean mixture.
  4. Sprinkle with desired amount of cheese.
