Ingredients

  • 3/4 lb
    boneless beef sirloin steak
  • 1 Tbsp
    vegetable oil
  • 1
    clove garlic, minced
  • 1 medium
    onion, cut into wedges
  • 10.25 oz
    cream of broccoli soup
  • 1/4 c
    water
  • 1 Tbsp
    soy sauce
  • 2 c
    broccoli flowerets
  • ·
    hot cooked noodles

How to Make Foolproof Beef and Broccoli

Step-by-Step

  1. Slice beef across the grain into very thin strips.
  2. In skillet, over medium-high heat, in hot oil, cook beef and garlic until beef is browned.
  3. Add onion.
  4. Cook for 5 minutes stirring often.
  5. Stir in soup, water and soy sauce. Heat to boiling.
  6. Add broccoli.
  7. Reduce to low.
  8. Cover, simmer for 5 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
  9. Serve over noodles.
  10. TIP: To make slicing easier, freeze beef for 1 hour.
