Ingredients

  • 2 pounds round steak
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 1 - bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 - carrot, shredded
  • 1 - celery ribs, bias cut 1 inch
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce

How To Make foil wrapped steak

  • Step 1
    Trim the ligament and fat from the round steak.
  • Step 2
    Place double layer of aluminum foil in bottom of shallow baking pan (9x15x2 or thereabouts in size).
  • Step 3
    Place meat on foil.
  • Step 4
    Spread unmelted butter on top of meat, season with garlic powder, pepper and half of worcestershire sauce or powder.
  • Step 5
    Pile vegetables on top.
  • Step 6
    Top with remaining worcestershire.
  • Step 7
    Cover with 2 additional layers of foil, wrap tightly to keep steam and juices inside.
  • Step 8
    Bake 2 1/2 hours in 350 oven.
