Once you remove the pot roast and vegtables from the slow cooker you can slowly add some flour to the juice to make a nice gravy to pour over the pot roast.

How to Make Flavorful Pot Roast

Step-by-Step

  • 1Rub pot roast with salt and pepper and place in crock pot.
  • 2Add segmented onions and rough cut potatoes around the pot roast.
  • 3Combine remaining ingredients in a sauce pan over medium heat to blend flavors.
  • 4Pour contents of sauce pan over the pot roast and cook on low for 6 hours or 4 hours on high setting.
