Ingredients
- 2 pounds pot roast
- 1 cup red wine, dry burgundy
- 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon liquid smoke flavoring
- 1 teaspoon thyme, dried
- 1 teaspoon rosemary, dried
- 2 large bay leaf
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 3 medium onions, sectioned
- 3 medium potatoes, rough cut with skins
- 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon salt
How To Make flavorful pot roast

Step 1Rub pot roast with salt and pepper and place in crock pot.

Step 2Add segmented onions and rough cut potatoes around the pot roast.

Step 3Combine remaining ingredients in a sauce pan over medium heat to blend flavors.

Step 4Pour contents of sauce pan over the pot roast and cook on low for 6 hours or 4 hours on high setting.
