This is an easy marinade to tenderize and flavor flank steak. (You can also make your own spice mix to use).

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds beef flank steak
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice, fresh
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil, extra virgin
  • 1 - packet italian salad dressing mix

How To Make flank steak marinade

  • Step 1
    Put all ingredients into gallon size zipper bag. Shake well. Place in refrigerator for 2-15 hours, take bag out a couple of times to shake and turn over.
  • Step 2
    When ready to cook, remove meat from the bag and put the liquid in a sauce pan and cook on high for five minutes to make a sauce (optional). Broil, grill or fry the steak as desired.
  • Step 3
    If you decide to broil or fry the steak, put leftover liquid into the pan to get all the drippings for added flavor, and then cook about 5 minutes.
