How to Make FIRST LADIES /PEDERNALES RIVER CHILI
- 1Place chili meat, onions, and cloves of garlic in a large heavy boiler or skillet.
Fry meat mixture until lightly brown in color.
Season with ground oregano, comino seed, chili powder, Ro-tel tomatoes, salt to taste, and hot water.
- 2Bring mixture to a boil. Lower cooking temperature and simmer slowly for about 1 hour, or until chili is as thick as desired.
