MEAT MIXTURE:

1 can(s)
evaporated milk (large can)
1/2 c
diced onion
3 lb
ground beef
2 c
oats, uncooked
2
eggs
2 tsp
chili powder
1/2 tsp
pepper
1/2 tsp
garlic salt
2 tsp
salt

SAUCE:

2 c
ketchup
2 c
brown sugar
2 Tbsp
liquid smoke flavoring
1/2 tsp
garlic salt
1/2 c
diced onion

How to Make Fireman BBQ Meatballs

Step-by-Step

  • 1MEAT MIXTURE: In a large bowl, combine all ingredients. Form into good sized balls and put into a 13x9 baking dish.
  • 2SAUCE: Combine all ingredients in saucepan and stir constantly until mixture comes to a boil. Pour over meatballs. Bake uncovered at 350 for 1 hour.
  • 3NOTE ON SAUCE: This is pretty sweet. I cut down the sugar a bit. Adjust to your taste.
