Ingredients
- MEAT MIXTURE:
- 1 can evaporated milk (large can)
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 3 pounds ground beef
- 2 cups oats, uncooked
- 2 - eggs
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
- 2 teaspoons salt
- SAUCE:
- 2 cups ketchup
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons liquid smoke flavoring
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1/2 cup diced onion
How To Make fireman bbq meatballs

Step 1MEAT MIXTURE: In a large bowl, combine all ingredients. Form into good sized balls and put into a 13x9 baking dish.

Step 2SAUCE: Combine all ingredients in saucepan and stir constantly until mixture comes to a boil. Pour over meatballs. Bake uncovered at 350 for 1 hour.

Step 3NOTE ON SAUCE: This is pretty sweet. I cut down the sugar a bit. Adjust to your taste.
