Ingredients For fireman bbq meatballs

  • MEAT MIXTURE:
  • 1 can
    evaporated milk (large can)
  • 1/2 c
    diced onion
  • 3 lb
    ground beef
  • 2 c
    oats, uncooked
  • 2
    eggs
  • 2 tsp
    chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    pepper
  • 1/2 tsp
    garlic salt
  • 2 tsp
    salt
  • SAUCE:
  • 2 c
    ketchup
  • 2 c
    brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp
    liquid smoke flavoring
  • 1/2 tsp
    garlic salt
  • 1/2 c
    diced onion

How To Make fireman bbq meatballs

    MEAT MIXTURE: In a large bowl, combine all ingredients. Form into good sized balls and put into a 13x9 baking dish.

    SAUCE: Combine all ingredients in saucepan and stir constantly until mixture comes to a boil. Pour over meatballs. Bake uncovered at 350 for 1 hour.

    NOTE ON SAUCE: This is pretty sweet. I cut down the sugar a bit. Adjust to your taste.
