I got this recipe from my friend Chef Bobby. He normally made enough to feed a couple of hundred so I adapted it to feed a family of 4.

Ingredients
- 5 ounces vermicelli fideo
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 2 cups diced tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon chicken base
- 2 teaspoons cumin
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- to taste salt
How To Make fideo

Step 1Cook vermicelli until al dente. Drain.

Step 2While pasta is cooking, place ground beef,tomatoes, onion powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt and chicken base in a skillet.

Step 3Mix well. Brown the ground beef mixture stirring frequently. Drain excess grease.

Step 4In a bowl, mix the pasta and beef mixture well.

Step 5Serve immediately.

Step 6**Great served with tortilla chips.
