Family Favorite Salisbury Steaks
1 1/2 lbground beef
1 cdry italian bread crumbs
1envelope dry onion soup mix (lipton)
1 can(s)cream of mushroom soup
3/4 can(s)hot water
2 1/2 Tbspcatsup
1 tspblack pepper
1 pkgwide egg noodles (16 oz)
1/2 cbutter......(a little oil, salt pepper & parsley)
How to Make Family Favorite Salisbury Steaks
- In lg. bowl...mix together ground beef, eggs, bread crumbs, 1/2 env. of dry onion soup mix (save other half for gravy) 1 tbs. of catsup, and black pepper to taste
- form into oval shaped patties, and fry in skillet a few min on each side!......remove to platter while you make gravy in the same skillet with the cream of mush soup, other 1/2 of dry onion soup mix, water, catsup, and black pepper....mix together,till color darkens and bubbles a bit.....put patties back in skillet covering them with the gravy....lower heat, cover skillet, and cook till patties are done!
