Tastes like a cheeseburger, but in sloppyjoe form. I found this recipe in an old paperback cookbook for recipes off jars, cans and labels. I don't even have the book anymore, but remember this easy yummy recipe. Can easily be doubled for a crowd. =^.~=

Ingredients

  • 1 pound hamburger
  • 1/2 - onion, chopped
  • 1 can cheddar cheese soup
  • - ketchup and mustard
  • 1 package hamburger buns

How To Make ez cheezy joes

  • Step 1
    Brown hamburger and onion, drain.
  • Step 2
    Add cheese soup, along with a big squeeze of ketchup and mustard (about 1/4 cup each). Stir til everything is mixed.
  • Step 3
    Serve on buns (toasted if desired).
  • Step 4
    Variations - Add a tbsp or two of dill or sweet relish. For ortega joes, eliminate ketchup and mustard and add a can of chopped green chiles with soup.
