I have served this meat many times and always am asked for the recipe..it is great to serve when you have a crowd.

Ingredients
- 2 pounds eye of the round
- 1 large onion, diced
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1/4 cup soy sauce, low sodium
- 1/4 cup canola or vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 1/2 cup water
How To Make eye of the round

Step 1With the end of a sharp knife prick the meat..combine the remaining ingredient which you whisk together..place meat in plastic bag set in into a bowl and refrigerate overnight or at least 10 hours.

Step 2Remove roast from bag and put into roasting pan..add the 1/2 cup of water to the marinade and pour it into the pan and roast at 325F for 2 to 3 hours internal temperature reads 160 medium cooked...serve on platter and let guests pull it apart and use crusty rolls or bread...I thicken the juice as people like dipping the rolls in the sauce.... a side salad goes well with this dish.
