    eye of the round

    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1/4 c
    soy sauce, low sodium
  • 1/4 c
    canola or vegetable oil
  • 2 Tbsp
    balsamic vinegar
  • 4 clove
    garlic minced
  • 1/2 c
    water

How to Make Eye Of The Round

Step-by-Step

  1. With the end of a sharp knife prick the meat..combine the remaining ingredient which you whisk together..place meat in plastic bag set in into a bowl and refrigerate overnight or at least 10 hours.
  2. Remove roast from bag and put into roasting pan..add the 1/2 cup of water to the marinade and pour it into the pan and roast at 325F for 2 to 3 hours internal temperature reads 160 medium cooked...serve on platter and let guests pull it apart and use crusty rolls or bread...I thicken the juice as people like dipping the rolls in the sauce.... a side salad goes well with this dish.
