elvis' favorite meatloaf
This was (supposedly) Elvis Presley's favorite meatloaf, as prepared for him by his cook at Graceland. Whether it was or not, it is gooood!! *I have also posted the optional Special Cheese Sauce for the meatloaf!

Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 medium bell pepper, red or green, chopped
- 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon lawry's seasoned salt
- 1 - egg, beaten
- 1 cup ritz crackers, crushed
- 2 - slices white bread
How To Make elvis' favorite meatloaf

Step 1Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.

Step 2Mix all ingredients together, except for bread. Shape into loaf. Line a 1 and 1/2 qt loaf pan with the bread slices. Place meatloaf on top. *The bread soaks up grease, and should be thrown away after the meatloaf is done.

Step 3Bake for 45 to 60 minutes, until meat is cooked through.
