Ingredients
- 3-4 pounds beef chuck roast
- 1 cup tomato or v8 juice
- 2 tablespoons worchestire sauce
- 2 pinches basil, dried
How To Make electric beef chuck roast

Step 1Mix tomato juice, worchestire sauce , and basil in small cup Brown chuck roast in 1tsp cooking oil Use an electric skillet for best results. Once roast is browned on both sides poor above mixture over it.

Step 2Cook approx 15 minutes on 350 electric skillet setting, uncovered and turning often Cover roast and cook roast and above mixture for 3 hours on simmer add water as mixtures reduces

Step 3use drippings with 2 tbs all purpose flour and water to make a savory gravy to serve with roast
