When I was working full time, married, with three small kids at home, I needed quick meals ready to throw together in an instant. This is one that I came up with to do a semi-homemade meal in a flash. The kids loved it, and I knew I had a winner. I hope you find it helps you in a pinch as well.

Ingredients

  • 1 package meatballs, frozen
  • 1 package sour cream, 8 oz.
  • 2 jars beef gravy
  • 1 package egg noodles
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • - salt, pepper, garlic powder to taste
  • - parsley flakes (for garnish)

How To Make easy swedish meatballs

  • Step 1
Bake meatballs according to package directions. Cook egg noodles according to package directions.
  • Step 2
Mix gravy, sour cream, onion, salt, pepper, and garlic powder in a large skillet or pot, as you will be adding the meatballs and will need the room. Heat through until the onion is cooked to your liking. Add a little water if it starts getting too thick.
  • Step 3
Add cooked meatballs to gravy mixture and stir them in to coat completely.
  • Step 4
Plate egg noodles, top with meatballs and gravy. Sprinkle parsley for added color.
  • Step 5
Serve with salad and a nice warm bread for a complete meal.
