I came up with this recipe after experimenting with some similar stroganoff recipes. My family enjoys it because it's creamy and comforting. I like it because it's easy to make.

Blue Ribbon Recipe

Add this to your easy weeknight dinner recipe list! Making stroganoff from scratch can take time, but we were super impressed by how easy and delicious this version is. The sauce is creamy, tangy, and savory. It's filled with bites of juicy steak and tender mushrooms. Poured over a bed of hot egg noodles, your family will love this simple dinner.

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onions, garlic, steak, and mushrooms.

Cook until meat is done and vegetables are tender.
  • Sour cream, cream soup and spices added to cooked beef.
Add soup, sour cream, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  • Stroganoff simmering on the stove.
Heat through until hot but not boiling.
  • Plate of stroganoff with egg noodles.
