Ingredients

  • 1-1/2 pound flank steak, cut in thin strips
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 3/4 cup soy sauce, low sodium
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup carrots, grated
  • - green onion, garnish
  • - brown rice, cooked

How To Make easy slow cooker mongolian beef

  • Step 1
    In ziplock bag, add flank steak strips and cornstarch. Shake to coat.
  • Step 2
    In medium bowl, combine oil, garlic, soy sauce, water, brown sugar & carrots. Stir. Add coated flank steak and stir until coated in sauce.
  • Step 3
    Place all in slow cooker and cook on high 2-3 hours or on low 4-5 hours until cooked throughout.
  • Step 4
    Can serve over rice and garnish with green onions if desired.
