    cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 c
    low sodium beef broth
  • 3 c
    halved small red potatoes
  • 1
    onion sliced thin
  • 2 clove
    garlic minced
  • 2
    carrots cut into 1 inch pieces
  • 1 c
    celery cut into 1 inch pieces
  • 1 Tbsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tbsp
    fresh chopped thyme leaves
  • 3 to 4 lb
    chuck roast

How to Make easy slow cooked pot roast


  1. Combine soup, broth, potatoes, onions, garlic, carrots, celery and seasonings in a large bowl. Place beef roast into 41/2 quart slow cooker.
  2. Place vegetable mixture around roast and pour soup mixture over roast and vegetables.
  3. Cover and cook on high for 5-6 hours or on low for 7-8 hours or until it is fork tender.
