Ingredients

  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup low sodium beef broth
  • 3 cups halved small red potatoes
  • 1 - onion sliced thin
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 - carrots cut into 1 inch pieces
  • 1 cup celery cut into 1 inch pieces
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chopped thyme leaves
  • 3 to 4 pounds chuck roast

How To Make easy slow cooked pot roast

  • Step 1
    Combine soup, broth, potatoes, onions, garlic, carrots, celery and seasonings in a large bowl. Place beef roast into 41/2 quart slow cooker.
  • Step 2
    Place vegetable mixture around roast and pour soup mixture over roast and vegetables.
  • Step 3
    Cover and cook on high for 5-6 hours or on low for 7-8 hours or until it is fork tender.
