easy sloppy sliders

This is a quick & easy way to make a fun version of Sloppy Joes. I only had biscuits on hand, instead of regular hamburger buns. These were great! You can also, in a pinch, use a can of Manwich Sauce over ground beef.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1/2 small green pepper, diced
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 - small can tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1/4 cup bbq sauce
  • - sloppy joe seasoning (to taste)
  • 1 package hawaiian bread rolls - or - small dinner rolls (i've used pillsbury rolls)

How To Make easy sloppy sliders

  • Step 1
    Brown the ground beef. Drain.
  • Step 2
    Saute the onions & peppers. Combine with the beef.
  • Step 3
    Add in the tomato paste, ketchup, brown sugar, BBQ sauce & seasonings.
  • Step 4
    Heat through. Serve on slider buns, or smaller dinner rolls.
  • Step 5
    ** Note: In a real pinch I have used Manwich Sauce with the ground beef, and Pillsbury dinner rolls.
