  • 8-10 large
    potatoes, peeled, boiled, and mashed
  • 2 1/2 lb
hamburger/ onions and seasoning to your own liking
  • 2 pkg
    brown gravy mix
  • 1 pkg
salted potato chips all crushed up

How to Make Easy shepherds Pie

  1. As the potatoes are mashed, set aside until hamburger is done, season to your own liking, in a large round casserole and oven safe dish place half the potatoes in and form a round scooped area and fill with the hamburger and make gravy thicker by adding less water to the package, top the hamburger with the gravy then cover with remaining potatoes
  2. crunch the package of chips and coat the top of the potatoes and place in oven for up to 20 min until golden brown, just until all is warm throughout. then let sit for about 10 minutes and cut like pie and it is delicious...been a crowd pleaser for 3 generations :)
