Easy Shepherd's Pie
1 1/2 lbground beef
2 largecarrots, finely chopped
1 largeonion, finely chopped
1/2 lbmushrooms, sliced
1/2 cfrozen peas
2 pkgbrown gravy powder
3 cleftover mashed potatoes
1/2 tsppaprika (for sprinkling)
How to Make Easy Shepherd's Pie
- Preheat oven to 350 F. Brown ground beef, with onion, carrot and mushrooms. When beef is browned and veggies are almost cooked, add the gravy mix and water. Bring to a boil, stirring until gravy is thickened.
- Add peas and put mixture into a 2 quart casserole dish.
- Add leftover mashed potatoes over beef mixture. Sprinkle paprika on top and bake uncovered for 45 minutes.
