How to Make Easy Saucey Hamburger Steaks
- Combine ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder and black pepper in large bowl. Form into six patties. In a large skillet, at medium heat, brown the patties on both sides.
- Remove the patties from skillet and drain off the remaining fat. Add the butter to the skillet and when melted; add the sliced onions and saute at medium heat until softened and browned slightly.
- Stir in the can of cream of mushroom soup, water, milk, beef bouillon granules and worcestershire sauce. Add a dash of pepper if desired. Return beef patties to skillet and spoon the sauce over each. On low heat, covered; simmer for about 20 to 30 minutes.
- Serve over mashed potatoes, rice or noodles of your choice.
