ground beef
1 tsp
garlic powder
1 tsp
onion powder
1/2 tsp
ground black pepper
2 Tbsp
butter, unsalted
1 small
onion, sliced
1 can(s)
healthy cream of mushroom soup
1 1/4 c
1/2 c
2 tsp
beef bouillon granules
1 Tbsp
worcestershire sauce
1 dash(es)
black pepper

How to Make Easy Saucey Hamburger Steaks


  • 1Combine ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder and black pepper in large bowl. Form into six patties. In a large skillet, at medium heat, brown the patties on both sides.
  • 2Remove the patties from skillet and drain off the remaining fat. Add the butter to the skillet and when melted; add the sliced onions and saute at medium heat until softened and browned slightly.
  • 3Stir in the can of cream of mushroom soup, water, milk, beef bouillon granules and worcestershire sauce. Add a dash of pepper if desired. Return beef patties to skillet and spoon the sauce over each. On low heat, covered; simmer for about 20 to 30 minutes.
  • 4Serve over mashed potatoes, rice or noodles of your choice.
