Ingredients
- 1 package kraft macaroni and cheese
- 1 pound lean hamburger
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup sweet green and or red peppers, chopped
- 1 package taco seasoning mix
- 3/4 cup water
- 1 can corn kernels, drained
- 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded and divided
- 1 cup salsa
- 1/2 cup tortilla chips, coarsely crushed
- - sliced black olives (optional)
How To Make easy hamburger taco bake

Step 1Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Prepare 9x9 or 9x13 pan with no-stick spray.

Step 2Prepare macaroni and cheese as directed on package. Stir in sour cream and set aside.

Step 3Brown hamburger, onions, garlic and peppers until meat is no longer pink, breaking up meat as you go. Drain.

Step 4To meat mixture add taco seasoning mix, water, corn and black beans. Simmer about 5 minutes.

Step 5Spoon half of the macaroni mixture into prepared pan.

Step 6Spoon all of the meat mixture on top of macaroni.

Step 7Take 1 cup of cheddar cheese and sprinkle on top of meat mixture.

Step 8Spoon rest of macaroni on top. Cover and bake about 15 minutes.

Step 9Top with salsa, chips, remaining cheese, and black olives. Bake, uncovered, 5 more minutes or until cheese is melted. Take out of oven and let sit for about 5 minutes to set up. Serve and enjoy!
