My kids always ask me to make these when they are visiting or I am at their house. These have been on the menu for many Birthday suppers throughout the years!

    onions, yellow, medium
  • 1 can(s)
    green chiles
  • 1/2 c
  • 1 pkg
    taco seasoning mix
  • 24
    flour tortillas
  • 1/2 pkg
    velveta cheese

How to Make Easy Fried Burritos


  1. Brown hamburger with onions and drain. Add green chiles, taco seasoning, and ketchup; simmer for 10 minutes. Remove from stove and let cool a little before spooning on tortillas.
  2. Cut velveta into slices. Put a large spoonful of meat in the middle of tortilla and top with half a slice of Velveta. Roll tortillas and fry in electric skillet with 1/2" oil until golden brown.
  3. As the burrito's come out of the skillet drain on cookie sheet covered with paper towels to soak up any extra oil. Put a layer of paper towels between layers of burritos. Bake in oven at 200' to keep warm until served.
