Blue Ribbon Recipe
Now, this is an easy dinner recipe. We put the chuck roast in the slow cooker and 8 hours later came back to perfectly cooked meat that was tender and falling apart. Beer, mixed with the natural flavors from the roast, gives the natural broth a deep, robust flavor. Fresh onion and garlic cook down to almost nothing but lots of flavor. The sandwich is so good and an easy weeknight dinner. Put the roast on early in the morning and the slow cooker does its magic. These would be yummy with a little provolone cheese too!
