How to Make Easy Cheesey Steak um Roll

Step-by-Step

  1. Cut up your steak ums while they are still frozen. About 1 inch slices or so.
  2. Fry up your Steak um according to the directions. ( Steak um is the bread I used of Thin Sandwich steaks. In the freezer section of your grocery store. Any brand will work fine.)( They are paper thin.. )
  3. A picture for reference on Steak Ums
  4. Season the meat with the Worcester sauce and liquid smoke. ( You also can do this ahead of time. cutting up the meat and putting the season on it and let it marinade..)
  5. Place your cheese on top of the cooked meat. Turn off the heat. Place a cover on the steak um with a few drops of water to make a steam, to melt the cheese while it is covered.
  6. Place your tortilla on a plate and warm it in the mico wave for a few seconds. Just enough to warm it.. Do not over cook..
  7. place your meat in the center of your warm tortilla and place on your steak sauce.
  8. Roll up your tortilla and enjoy your roll..
