Ingredients
- 1 pound beef sirloin, boneless cut into strips
- 2 teaspoons ginger root, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon orange peel, grated
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce, light
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1/2 pound snow pea pods, trimmed
- 1/2 cup bean sprouts
- 1/2 cup celery ribs, sliced
- 1/2 cup red bell pepper, sliced
- 3 cups cooked brown rice
How To Make easy beef stir fry (low fat)

Step 1In a large zip-lock plastic bag, combine ginger root, orange rind, orange juice, vinegar and soy sauce.

Step 2Zip bag and mix thoroughly to make marinade.

Step 3Add meat strips and place in refrigerator for 30-45 minutes.

Step 4Remove meat strips and add cornstarch to remaining marinade.

Step 5Zip bag and mix cornstarch into marinade.

Step 6Spray nonstick skillet with nonstick cooking spray and heat to medium-high.

Step 7Add meat strips and stir-fry for 5 minutes.

Step 8Remove from skillet.

Step 9Drizzle sesame oil over skillet.

Step 10Add snow peas, bean sprouts, celery and pepper and stir-fry 3 minutes.

Step 11Add steak strips and reserved marinade and stir-fry an additional 2-3 minutes.

Step 12Mixture should be slightly thickened. Serve over rice.
