This is so simple, and very tasty. My family loves this beef stew. When I bake a roast I always save the extra for stew. I think it tastes better, than just cooked beef.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups beef roast precooked
  • 6 medium carrots chopped
  • 3 large potatoes chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups celery chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups frozen corn
  • 1 1/2 cups frozen peas
  • 1 small onion chopped
  • 4 packages brown gravy mix- i use pioneer brand
  • 5+ cups water
  • - salt and pepper to taste

How To Make easy beef stew

  • Step 1
In a crock pot add precooked roast, and all the chopped, and frozen vegetables.
  • Step 2
Stir the gravy mix with the water and pour over roast.
  • Step 3
Cook on high until vegetables are tender.
  • Step 4
You can add any vegetables you like. I like using fresh or frozen. I don't recommend using canned vegetables. I made this the other day and added sliced mushrooms with the other vegetables and it was very good.
