Easy Beef Stew

This is so simple, and very tasty. My family loves this beef stew.
When I bake a roast I always save the extra for stew. I think it tastes better, than just cooked beef.

4 c
beef roast precooked
6 medium
carrots chopped
3 large
potatoes chopped
1 1/2 c
celery chopped
1 1/2 c
frozen corn
1 1/2 c
frozen peas
1 small
onion chopped
4 pkg
brown gravy mix- i use pioneer brand
5+ c
salt and pepper to taste


1In a crock pot add precooked roast,and all the chopped, and frozen vegetables.
2Stir the gravy mix with the water and pour over roast.
3Cook on high until vegetables are tender.
4You can add any vegetables you like. I like using fresh or frozen. I don't recommend using canned vegetables. I made this the other day and added sliced mushrooms with the other vegetables and it was very good.
