Easy Beef Pie
1 lbround steak, cut into 1/4" cubes
2 cwhite potatoes, cut into 1/4" pieces
3/4 cfresh mushrooms, sliced
3 Tbspchopped onion
1 jar(s)beef gravy
1 tspdried thyme leaves
3refrigerated pie crusts, not pre-formed
How to Make Easy Beef Pie
- Combine round steak, potatoes, mushrooms, onion, gravy, pepper, and thyme leaves.
- Place pie crusts on an ungreased cookie sheet. Spoon the meat filling on one half of each pastry. Fold pastry over filling to make a half circle. Moisten the inside with a little water. Pinch the edge with your fingers to seal. Cut three slits in the top of each pastry. Beat an egg yolk with a few drops of water. Brush each pastry with mixture.
- Bake at 400*F for 45 minutes, or until golden.
